A lot of wind can effect the fishing.

The weather man said light and variable today. The wind conditions were far from that with a stiff southeast wind blowing ahead of the approaching cold front. Days like today are tough for fishing. You can't drift the flats because you move to fast, can't really sight fish and with the wind at 15 to 20 it's hard to fish some of my best spots. My guys hung in there for the first couple of hours having a lot of spanish, bluefish and ladyfish action. Some of the bluefish are really big making for a great pull on light tackle. We hit another spot for a few more blues and spanish a bonus flounder and trout.
