Allan and Micheal brave the weather: nice trout reward!

Another day on the water and another day of 20 to 30 knot winds. Good thing I can put my clients on fish in any conditions! Picked up bait early this morning and headed to a couple of spots. First spot had a bunch of post spawn trout. Not giants....17" to 19"...good eating size: {%image_id=9817%} You can tell there is a low in the gulf south of Panama City because the tides are much higher than normal which definitely has an effect on the fishing. We probably could have caught our limit of ten trout but the conditions were a little on the tough side. Allan and Micheal Davidson from B'Ham stuck with it catching a lot of fish of various species. Not very minutes went by without some action. We fished a couple of flounder holes, lost a nice one but nothing like yesterday. Floated some big baits for sharks but no takers. We had a lot of action; big blues, lot's of just under size gag grouper, few ladyfish and some spanish. Today was the first day the weather played an adverse way with the fishing. Good news, I believe everything will be back to normal by Sunday with the passing of the low. {%image_id=9818%}
