And the rain keeps falling in Panama City

Some days the rain is a good thing and some days not so good. I can't remember the last time I fished without getting rained on. All last weekend we put reds in the boat. Over 20 last weekend with a lot of trout on top. The thing about the rain is the wind and lightning that comes with it. Most days we do well in the drizzles. Today there were not many drizzle but some of that hard pounding rain. "4lb. Ray" and I were working a bank when the first storm rolled in. We pounded water with artificials for a couple of hours in the rain. The fish on the other hand were content to hang out and not play today. We had fish swirl at topwaters, nudge subsurface baits and follow both to the boat before giving us the finger when they swam off. We managed a few fish though, so the day was not a complete zero. Later after getting blown out of West Bay we threw some spoons up to some ledges and drops. We managed some ladyfish and "4lb" hooked a nice jack for a while. All I can say is a day on the water is better than the best day sitting behind a desk. {%image_id=11941%}
