Even though we had a record high this afternoon the morning brought a light wind out of the northwest and some decent early morning teperatures. Once again we were watching tailing reds as the sun came up. Thanks to Capt. Jim Dupree and the "Dupree Spoon Fly" Leon got his first red on the fly. We had a lot of lookers but only one taker. {%image_id=10565%} {%image_id=10562%} {%image_id=10563%} {%image_id=10564%} After the redfish we went out to the big bay getting a lot of action with the migratory fish; spanish, blues and lady's. I always appreciate having fly fishers on the boat, we are a different breed. I especially appreciate all the guys lately...all could cast and had a grasp of fly fishing. Fly fishing in saltwater is a lot different than fishing a stream or lake. Long accurate cast with a delicate presentation are the key to catching redfish on the fly. Once again...hats off to Bob, John and Leon...my fly fishers of the last week.
