Chris Offers is a class act. He didn't want to keep anything just wanted action. We hit the beach. I caught some Pilchers just in case the Tarpon came by. As the sun got higher we saw a few wrong way tarpon. Funny seeing how the west current has been ripping! As the tide slowed we saw more fish going west into the current. We only got four GOOD shots. Bounced one fish for about 30 mins. After five jumps and three rod passings, the fish shook off. I never got a good photo. I didn't have any charters for the afternoon today . I had just finished cleaning my boat when my phone went crazy with reports of cobia east bound. I called up some friends and told them to meet me at the dock ASAP! I love to sight fish soo much I am willing to go look anytime. I have seen Cobia do this in the years past, but it's usually in July. I don't know if it's the oil or how stellar the cobia have been this year. We went 3 for 7 this afternoon and only had one legal fish. Reports out of Destin are much better. I'll be on the beach in the A.M.{%image_id=15860%}
