We fished some shallow water this morning with redfish moving everywhere. When that second fish came up and spanked the Zara Spook it looked like someone had thrown a cinder block on top of it. We were in water just a little over a foot deep which made it hard to believe the size of the fish we caught. The first was a mere 16 inches long. Figuring all of the fish would be that small I continued on coaxing my clients into casting on all of the moving fish. Much to my suprise the second fish was 33" and a pig. The third fish, another pig, was 31". We watched tailing fish and fish moving all morning. Unfortunately, I dunked my camera which means there are no pic's today. Second camera this year...sux. Later we moved onto the spanish hole and finished the day with a bunch of big spanish. Great day and lot of good fish.
