Panama City/Florida Panhandle Offshore, snapper is closed except for catch and release. Grouper are abundant on many of the wrecks when you can find a nice day to get out. Everything else has pretty much migrated out of the area. Most of the pelegics have moved south for the winter. You can catch big reds in the pass on live bait. Smaller reds and trout have started moving into the canals and bayous. One really good place to fish is w Warren Bayou, commonly known as the steam plant canal. You can catch just about anything you can imagine although you have to throw them all back. Duck season has started and it looks like it may be a good year for divers. Guided duck hunts are $75 and I garauntee the opputunity to shoot ducks. I will continue to run two person afternoon guide trips through the winter for $200. Price will go back to $220 on March 1, 2004. There may be a price increase next year, but that won't happen until May 2004.
