Florida Fishing Report for Panama City & Destin

Panama City/Florida Panhandle Not much has changed since the last report although there seems to be a lot of big trout in the bay. We landed one that was nine and another 7 1/2 last week both on artificial. Refer to my previous reports for more info. I would like to thank all of the great customers that I have had the pleasure of meeting over the last five years that have shopped in my store. Friday the 13th of August will be our last day, thank you again. I have been invited to be part of another tackle shop opening later this year so you will be able to get the same great info that you have been getting for the last five years. Sorry about no fly shop in the area but that will be remedied with the opening of the new store. All of my regular customers take note of the new phone numbers for guide trips, I still consider myself the best in the area. This year we have boated almost 300 reds, 25 trout over five pounds and all of the other players. Next year should be even better since I'm not tied to a store and can spend more time on the water.
