Panama City/NW Florida After weeks of east wind seems like things are finally changing for the better. With the full moon of a few days ago and a strong south and west wind the bite has been hot. The bay filled up with palegics over the weekend and it looks like the spanish have come back. On the flats, we are still doing very well with white clousers for the fly fisherman and DOA Shrimp for the conventional tackle fisherman. There are a lot of nice trout to catch this year. One day last week we caught over ten keepers, releasing every one of them. We had some pompano in the bay several times lately along with banded rudderfish. I believe that good summertime bite is on and do not anticipate a change any time soon. Give me a call to book your trip. If I'm booked I will refer you to one of the other competent guides in the area. Capt. James Pic
