Panama City NW Florida The red tide has come and gone. Things have finally returned to normal. This years red tide was no where near as bad as in years past. Been catching some of the big reds in the pass like the one being held by David Callaway from Georgia. The flounder have started moving again and I expect to put many in the box over the next two months. Along with the flounder the fall spanish run has started and can be caught with relative ease on artificial. This time of year they will pretty much hit anything you throw at them. Case Rhodes recently caught his first trout in West Bay. The trout and redfish bite has been great all year long. We are still putting lot's of fish in the boat each time we go out. Along the beach the fall king bite is on with great reports of kings coming in. Along with the fall migration offshore come the winter bonita which is like catching a redfish with a serious attitude. Duck Hunting The dates for the 2007-08 season have been released. I will be in Mexico catching tarpon and permit on the fly the first two days of season, November 17 and 18, but will be back and available for all the other days. I hunt the bay a lot which means we take a lot of divers and a few puddle ducks every now and then. Last year we had some goldeneyes along with a couple of random cans. All in all things see to be shaping up for a great finish to a great year. Hope to see you on the water. Capt. James Pic
