The Redfishing here in Panama City Beach has been second to none. Were finding these fish all over the bay. The bigger bulls have been closer to the pass and on the beach, but the skinny water fish in the back of the bay have been extremely aggressive. For the fly fisherman, tailing and backing fish have been the norm. 20ft to 40ft casts are all that have been required. I had one guy cast at a fish, the fish didn't eat, so I told him to keep stripping that there was another fish on his cast and he caught him 15 ft in front of the boat. I've been fishing in the West Bay and North Bay areas and have had no trouble getting close to these fish and getting them to eat. Low water has been the key, with the negative tides,north winds, and gin clear water, the next few months will be excellent for sight fishing Redfish.{%image_id=12787%}{%image_id=12786%}{%image_id=12783%}{%image_id=12788%}{%image_id=12789%}{%image_id=12784%}{%image_id=12785%}{%image_id=12790%}
