Hot October days...what's up with that?

The weather should have changed by now with temps a lot lower than the "near record highs" we are experiencing each day. The spanish and bluefish bite is hot and when the weather is good you can get out to the gulf beach and catch some big reds. We catch little reds all the time and there are a few trout around. The thing that bother's me is the lack of flounder movement. Mark and Jeff from the Dothan area came down this morning wanting to learn how to catch flounder and wanting a few to eat. We managed a few good fish but as hard as we fished we never found the numbers I expect by mid October each year. It was a beautiful day and the weather will continue to be the same...fishing good. We need some cool temps to get the fall bite moving. {%image_id=12324%} {%image_id=12323%}
