Kids can get a slam also....hunting season starts.

Sorry about the lack of post's lately. Been chasing deer, with no luck, that story a little later. In between deer I've been taking a few trips here and there fishing for trout, reds and flounder. Took my nephew, Jared, last week...he nailed his first slam. {%image_id=18067%} {%image_id=18068%} Crash got a slam today...couple of nice trout, a really good flounder and her first red. {%image_id=18069%} {%image_id=18070%} {%image_id=18071%} Check my forecast for some good details. First phase of duck season starts this coming Saturday. We had a pretty good season last year. With my new boat I will be able to range further. As for the deer. C'mon Man.....been hunting this private land for three years. I saw at least two or more deer every day of bow season last year. So far this year only two deer in the last three weeks. Tried and tried to figure out why but when I started looking around I found a pile of corn in an out of the way place on a major trail. I looked everywhere for the stand finally located a climber hidden under a pine. Damn poacher. We ran him off. Hopefully things will get back to normal.
