What a great week of fishing! I got out in the Gulf at the beginning of this week and low and behold, bait was everywhere you looked. Along with the bait, I saw Kings skyrocketing and Bonito and Spanish corralling up bait balls. The last few days have been one of the best King Bites I can remember in years. We caught them on live bait, jigs, spoons, and even on top water plugs. I also ventured out a few miles and had my crews doing battle with all the Amberjacks their arms could stand. The reef fishing for the in season reef fish has also been outstanding. We are catching a mixed bag of the Vermillion, White, Lane, and several types of Porgies. All of these fish have liberal limits and are great table fair. The Red Snapper season opens in State waters next weekend for weekends only until Memorial weekend, then is open continuously until July 10. {%image_id=48071%}{%image_id=48070%}{%image_id=48072%}{%image_id=48069%}{%image_id=48067%}{%image_id=48066%}{%image_id=48065%}{%image_id=48064%}{%image_id=48063%} Thanks, Capt.
