Headed out for a morning of catch and release. Had "4lb." Ray on the boat. All he wanted to do was catch as many fish as he could. The bite was continuous for the most part as we hit several different spots. We caught a bunch of spanish, ladyfish and sharks. Much to both of our suprise we caught no bluefish. {%image_id=11382%} {%image_id=11383%} If you are heading out this weekend and want to stay in the bay to catch these fish I will give you a few pointers. Get some spoons, like Krocodiles, smaller sizes. Any kind of lug nut (spoon) will do as long as it doesn't twist your line. Hit any ledges in the bay either early or with the tide moving. Try both shallow and deep drops. Don't troll, cast. Your motor will put the fish down. These fish have been hammered all summer long and have become wary of boats. Good luck.{%image_id=11382%}
