Memphis duck hunters learn spanish

Had a great group of guys, and a gal, from Memphis this morning. Mills, his wife Kelly, Stiles and Craig took a break from work for a week in Panama City and some bay fishing. The day started out cool with a record low for the day. The cool weather must have had an effect on the trout because we couldn't seem to get a good one to bite. With that we turned our attention to spanish and what a spanish day it was! With the east wind schools of new bait and fish have piled into the pass. We easily had the best spanish day of the year catching four 25" at the fork or bigger. At one point the biggest spanish I have ever seen followed a hooked fish to the boat. Yes, there is a possibility that it could have been a king because I didn't get a look at the black dorsal that a spanish has. If it was a spanish it was world record size! It was big! We manage some decent blues and a couple of trout. It was a beautiful day to fish and a great trip. {%image_id=11057%} {%image_id=11058%} {%image_id=11059%}
