What can you say about a couple in town for a few days, only one to fish, and bad weather? Good job! Thats what I say! We hit a lot of spots here and there with live shrimp. Spots that normally hold sheeps and reds this time of year. We missed a few of each. Tough fishing with the wind howling 20 plus over our shoulders pushing the lines around making it tough to feel the fish. We ended up in a good trout spot catching some nice keepers on live shrimp and some on DOA and popping corks later in the morning. Take a look: {%image_id=8642%} {%image_id=8643%} {%image_id=8644%} Trout really turn on just before these fronts. If you can get your bait in front of a school you can get some good ones. My hat off to Mike and Darlene for hanging in there and catching some good fish. Hope they were good on the grill.
