Nothing like a box full of axe handles for a fish fry!

"4lb." Ray joined long time client, John White, for a fish catching exercise this morning. John needed a box full of fish for a fish fry over in Desting later this week. We hit a ledge that has been good to me all year catching a good mess of spanish, blues and a sand shark. A couple of the spanish were easily five pounds. The big spanish are in the bay and will remain until mid November at least. As for the sharks. We keep a few males each year. Although they are very good on the grill, fried or broiled, I prefer to cut them into scallop sized pieces and scampi them. Over some spinich linguini...yummy!
