Had a great kids trip today. St. andrews pass was rough as a cobb. Caught a few sheepshead and a redfish. Pretty slow bite. Wind and tide were rippin so we trolled over to a little trout hole and picked about 20 spanish on the way. At the trout hole we started out good. Caught four nice dinks(about 18 inches) and then nothing. Trolled over to another spot picking spanish along the way. This spot produced two nice Black Drum and a giant stingray. It was too sloppy to Cobia fish in my boat today. Jason Hallmark on the Motherload out of Destin called this morning saying that they hadn't had many fish yesterday. I told him we been WACKING them on our beaches. He fished from Destin to PCB and went 5 for 6 on Cobia. It pays to have a 56 foot boat some days. Good job Jason!
