Panama City Beach Cobia Fishing

The Cobia Report! I just posted my inshore report. This is just a cobia report for the panhandle. As usual the fish showed up west of Panama City Beach first. We found a few fish on turtles and the rest were free swimming.{%image_id=32651%} I was invited this week to join good friends on a 45 ft. CABO for a day of Cobia fishing.{%image_id=32647%} We followed the reports of fish to the west and head that way. 20 minutes into it we found fish.{%image_id=32650%}{%image_id=32649%}{%image_id=32648%} Then more fish...and then we had a limit after 4 hours so we started releasing them. We went 9 for 20 something and released 3 for our boat limit of 6. {%image_id=32652%}Cobia Fishing is not fast action. It's not for anyone that gets sea sick. It's not for everyone. If you have good vision, like to stalk big game fish, it is highly addictive. {%image_id=32653%}
