Panama City Beach Cobia.

{%image_id=14566%}Had two kids trips today. We put a wacking on the Sheepshead both trips. All day long my phone was blowing up... Friends calling and saying "The Cobia were Floating everywhere! Get out here!" My first clients were really young and probably wouldn't have had the patients to go looking. My second group was a father and son. For the second round we pulled on the sheepshead until the litle guy started getting sea gueezy. I suggested that we move off the rocks away from boat traffic where the waves are more separated. We got about a mile off the beach and there was a 45 pounder just floating there. Jig,jig,JIG...Hooked up! Soon as we had the fish in the box my little angler says, "I need to lay down." Dad said to me "I happy!" We called it a a day and went back to Sun Harbour Marina for some Giant Cheeseburgers.
