I get fly fishermen from all over at all experience levels. One good thing about having fly fished for forty years is I have the ability to improve anyone that would like a little help. Today Wayne Cook took a shot at some of what Panama City has to offer. Wayne has had some good pulls on the Louisiana Gulf Coast where there are redfish everywhere. Today he had to throw at tailing fish or fish pushing wakes, lot different. This is a great time of year for anyone interested into fly fishing to come to Panama City. Although Wayne had a challenge with the redfish he found plenty of trout, blues and ladyfish to catch. He even had a 50lb. bull shark eat a small ladyfish he was bringing to the boat on the fly. Fall is a great time to fly fish Northwest Florida, there are a lot of different species ready to eat a fly. Whether trout and reds or the big numbers of blues, spanish and ladyfish there are a lot of fish to catch on the fly. In the next few weeks the bonita will be showing up which are a big time on the fly. Here's a few pictures from today: {%image_id=11838%} {%image_id=11839%} {%image_id=11840%} {%image_id=11841%}
