Panama City Florida Spring Fishing Officially Underway!

Cold...hot...cold...air conditioner two days ago, heat this morning. What's up with this crazy weather? The spanish came in early, then disappeared with fresh water run off and cold fronts...bait disappeared also. Some serious southeast winds brought warm water over the weekend, the bait rolled in today and the spanish are with them. Spanish are back on. The sheepshead bite is winding down. Mostly small male fish being caught and not in big numbers. Redfish are on fire...big and small along with the trout. Time to fish. Some good cobia are being caught.
