Spent most of the day Saturday scouring the beach for cobia. A few have been trickling through and being caught. One over 60lbs. last week and a few good fish over the weekend. We spent most of the day looking but didn't see a fish. We have some southeast winds predicted this week which will change everything for the better. After hunting for cobia Saturday we took a little time to take advantage of the spanish that have made an appearance over the last few days. The full run is a couple of days away but some are here and we have been catching them. As for the pass....still hot. Caught some monster sheeps today. Take a look: {%image_id=8584%} Action shot: {%image_id=8583%} Another monster: {%image_id=8585%} End of the day: {%image_id=8586%} We kept 13 of the bigger fish throwing back enough to make our limits. After the pass we looked for cobia but none to be found. The wind has a southeasterly fetch and the cobia should arrive in full force by the weekend. We caught a bunch of good sized blues up in the bay and have been getting a few trout. Fishing is getting better each day.
