Puppy reds and some nice trout

The wind has been blowing out of the East the last few days switching to the Southeast later in the morning. The kind of wind I like. Fishing has been good the bite consistent. The water is very high for some reason which could be why we could only land puppy reds this morning. We watched a group of three come down a bank, blasting one of our baits as it went by, unfortunately he was lost. Those three fish were upper end slot or over the slot, the only three big reds we saw this morning. The trout bite continues to be good with us landing a good number of legal trout each time I leave the dock. If you can get on the right spot there are 3 to 5lb. bluefish willing to hit topwater like Zara Spooks. Those were a lot of fun along with a few spanish. {%image_id=11502%} {%image_id=11503%} {%image_id=11504%} {%image_id=11505%}
