What a beautiful day. Light winds out of the east and southeast along with mild temps made for a great day on the water. The east wind tends to make some new fish show up and the ones that are here bite a little better. The spanish bite was good today and there was plenty of action for the live baiters on the boat. There are a lot of sharks in the bay, all sizes and shapes. I won't be running any trips on Saturdays for the rest of the summer although I will run Friday night trips. These night trips can include trout fishing under docks, black snaps and reds in the pass and shark fishing. I can do combination of any two of those. A really fun trip is black snaps and reds in the pass for the first two hours and shark fishing later. On a good night the shark bite can be quick and easy. {%image_id=10884%} {%image_id=10885%} {%image_id=10886%} We are starting to catch some grouper in the bay. This is the time of year for that and will last until fall. {%image_id=10887%} {%image_id=10888%} {%image_id=10889%}
