Dock's and rocks in December
Anna Maria, florida

December 22, 2011
The wintertime bite is still very good in our area around Anna Maria. It is just a matter of finding the right dock or patch of rocks that is holding the fish. Fresh shrimp is the ticket they do not even have to be live to work. The last couple of trips reds and sheepshead have made up most of the catch. The reds are running on the small side of the slot from eighteen inches to about twenty two inches. Most of the sheepshead are in the pound to three pound range. We are catching around thirty to fourty fish a trip. Good Fishing!
Tight Lines,
Capt. Rick Gross
