The last couple of weeks redfish have been on fire. My poor popping corks have really taken a beating almost everyone has teeth marks. Sometimes I think putting a hook at the bottom of the float would catch more fish then the bait. On the better days when the bite is on everyone on the boat will have a fish on. It really makes things interesting trying to keep lines straight. {%image_id=28347%}{%image_id=28343%}{%image_id=28344%} Mangrove snapper are starting to show a whole lot better now that the hatch bait is finally in full swing. We caught a nice limit of snapper at the skyway this past Thursday. {%image_id=28348%} Catch and release snook fishing is still good on the stronger parts of the tides. No really big fish but a few that would have made the slot around thirty two inches. {%image_id=28346%} Spanish mackerl are in good numbers around the markers in Tampa Bay and all the big passes to the gulf. Good Fishing! Capt. Rick Gross
