Good snook action around Anna Maria Island

Plenty of snook are coming off their winter hideouts and moving on to the flats. We caught big snook each day with a few in the 36 inch range. All are released carefully for future breeding. March is the best time to catch a big snook. They usually haven't been pressured as later in the season and will fall a bit easier to a live bait.
