Tampa Bay trout fishing

Trout fishing resumed on Jan. 1 after a 2 month closure. We have been catching plenty of trout in the 16-20 inch range. On the negative tides there have been big Gator trout over 25 inches. The best baits have been live shiners and especially Gulp articials on quarter ounce jigs
