Fishing Conditions: Summer conditions are here, light easterly winds shifting in onshore by mid day. Afternoon and evening thunderstorms are now common. The backcountry water levels are moderate to high and temps are in the mid 80s. The beach waters are mostly clear providing good sight fishing opportunities. Bait: Pass crabs, Scaled sardines, threadfin herring, glass minnows, pinfish, shrimp, ladyfish Fishing Technics: Beach- Watch for rolling tarpon along the beaches early. Then stake out along contours as soon as the light gets good. Back Country- Go early and fish the falling tides when the reds and snook will be out from under the mangroves.
