Over the last few days the winds are calming down and the air and water temperature are finally warming up. we noticed bait(white bait and glass minnows) starting to move back into the harbor along with them the spanish mackerel and a few bluefish. up on the flats of the eastwall and west wall of the harbor, schools of redfish have been tailing during the lower tides. If you can pushpole shallow enough with your boat or have a set of waders you can stalk up on the fish quietly and throw soft pastics or shrimp in front of them. There are a few big trout still around also on these flats.
