Snook season opens and we have been doing well on the smaller snook,18" to 28". Fish the last of the outgoing to the first of the incoming tides, especially on the moon tides. Their pleanty of the smaller tarpon on the gulf side with all the bait poring out of the rivers. Reds are also around and easily caught on fly.James Breeze with a nice snook!{%image_id=10963%} Gil Drake and I have also been back to Big Cypress Bass fishing again. The bite hasn't been hot because of all the high water, but patients pays off. Back too the Gulfside:Their pleanty of Mackeral,Ladyfish & Jacks, but the Trout are alittle harder to find, search the deeper pockets, or white sandy areas on the grass flats.

Tight Lines,

Capt. Bert Barkus
