Trout and Reds in North County

The Trout bite has been fair to good for the last four or five days. As the water reaches 72 degrees we expect to see some mackerel on the flats. We have been catching a few reds however we have not been targeting Reds. Some white baits have been around once again small pin fish seem to be the ticket for the larger Trout. By the end of the month the water temps should make fishing fantastic.
