Rained out so here goes a fishing report. Trout bite has really picked up the past few days. Best action I've seen is in 2-4' in the "rock grass" popping cork and a live shrimp or an aggressively worked paddle tail has been getting it done. You're going to lose a few jigs to mackerel though. Reds have been schooled up pretty thick lately. Those freezing cold days with no water you'll find me in the river grinding it out slinging shrimp and retying jigs every 3 minutes. I've had some 40-50 fish days recently. Of course 75% of those are undersized but a 16" red will out fight a nice trout. Snook are in the river and kings bay in good numbers. Normally I'm fishing a soft plastic jerk bait or a rapala xrap for them. May try to go get one on fly when this rain blows over... {%image_id=64583%}{%image_id=64584%}{%image_id=64585%}{%image_id=64586%}{%image_id=64587%}{%image_id=64588%}{%image_id=64589%}{%image_id=64590%}{%image_id=64591%}{%image_id=64592%}{%image_id=64593%}{%image_id=64594%}{%image_id=64595%}{%image_id=64596%}{%image_id=64598%}{%image_id=64597%}{%image_id=64599%}{%image_id=64600%}{%image_id=64601%}{%image_id=64602%}
