Well the Red Snapper season for 2012 came to end with a nice calm day. We have been fortunate to find that with that species closed the other critters that we haven't been chasing for a while are around and seem eager to be caught. The Grouper bite continues to be good-- you still have to be able to get 'em off the bottom after they bite but we have been getting quite a few to bite ! I'm off this afternoon to go to Indian Pass and chase Tarpons for a few weeks so I may be slow in the next fishing report. In the meantime here are a few pics from the past week. {%image_id=28007%} What a great board ! Big Snappers & a pile of Kings! {%image_id=28006%} More big Snappers and some fine Groupers too! {%image_id=28008%} The last Red Snapper catch for 2012--- {%image_id=28009%} The "other" critters- Triggers and Vermillions {%image_id=28010%} This was a 3 hr afternoon. The boys all wanted to fish for "Big" fish. They landed a few too! Off to launch some giant silver fish skyward !!! Capt Larry Pentel Deadfish
