Destin Bull Redfish at Crab Island

This time of year, we spend a handful of days per month over in Destin, FL. The shallow water areas around Destin Pass and The Narrows area to the west present excellent opportunities for shallow water sight fishing. Guided longtime Redfish U. client, Jim Lawrence on Friday and a few new clients from Destin on Saturday. Both instructional/catching trips produced nice numbers of speckled trout on the north side of Choct. Bay and then both trips ended with some sight fishing for the big redfish on the flats of Crab Island. Gulp! 4" Shrimp in Lime Tiger were the bait of choice for the large redfish.
