April 05, 2012
Spanish mackerel have been pretty thick the last couple of weeks on the rising tide north of the destin bridge and on the beaches in the afternoons with the same incoming tide. King mackerel are making there presence known in an area east south east of the destin pass called the broken bottoms. Trolling live cigar minnows and herring on no#4 wire and two no#6 trebles a ha ha rig.
