Water temperatures have remained consistent and the water quality has been great in the backwaters. Juvenile tarpon are making their way to their winter haunts but have been active early in the morning. Large trout have been roaming the grass flats. Pompano have littered the major passes and make for great table fare. Redfish are elusive in the backwaters but feed best on a high-falling tide. Small snook are feeding heavy and the larger fish have moved further back into the rivers. {%image_id=51093%}
