Estero Bay: Redfish
Estero Bay, florida

October 26, 2015
The redfish bite in Estero has been amazing this past week. Schools of fish can still be found on the right tide. They have been eating shrimp, crabs, and small bait fish. My go-to setup is a long 25lb or 30lb Fluorocarbon leader with a 3/0 Owner hook. If it's too windy or a high tide, a 1/8oz jighead works best. For my half-day charter, my clients doubled up on redfish first thing in the morning. {%image_id=45580%} {%image_id=45578%} Later in the morning they landed three more slot redfish and one shark off of the flat! {%image_id=45579%} {%image_id=45586%} {%image_id=45587%} Book your Backwater adventure today!
Tight Lines,
