Capt. Jon Fetter of Catching The Cure Charters is back in town after a visit to Montana, and is ready to go after snook and other saltwater gamefish. This past week he had the pleasure of fly fishing the Flathead and Bitteroot rivers in Missoula and Whitefish Montana. He said the bite was fantastic with plenty of fly rod action. Rainbow, brown, and cutbow trout in the 18 to 22 inch range were daily catches, using hoppers and dry flies. The mountain scenery was beautiful and they spotted deer, big horn sheep and mountain goats while fishing.
