There has been plenty of options for anglers fishing in and around Estero Bay. Te backbay bite is teaming with spotted seatrout, sheepshead, snapper, ladyfish, and jacks. The seatrout bite has been good over the grass flats in 3-5 feet of water. Shrimp under popping corks is the best method. Sheeps and snapper are all over the mangroves and oyster bars and shrimp tipped jig heads will work best. The passes are producing good numbers of pompano, seatrout, ladyfish, bluefish, and small sharks. Bottom bouncing shrimp on 1/4 oz jig heads will work, but shrimp under floats seems to work better. Look for water in the 3-5 foot depths and start your drift.

Tight Lines,
