Estero Bay Report
Estero Bay, florida

June 15, 2017
This past week proved extremely tough for anglers due to weather, but early on the bite was pretty good with plenty of action. There wasn't much size to the fish but sometimes bending a rod is what most are looking for. The spotted seatrout bite was really good over the grass flats in 3-5 feet of water. Shrimp under a popping cork worked best, but those looking to throw artificial's had decent luck with topwater plugs or gulp shrimp on jig heads. The passes provided variety with seatrout, ladyfish, jacks, and the occasional shark. Bottom bouncing shrimp tipped jig heads was the ticket.
Tight Lines,
