The bite continues to be red hot in and around Estero Bay. The backbay is teaming with redfish and they are chewing on shrimp tipped jig heads thrown around the mangrove islands and oyster bars on higher water. The key seems to be finding good moving water. Sheepshead are going nuts right now in all their usual hangouts. Mangrove shorelines and oyster bars are holding some quality fish. Anglers just remember to downsize your hooks to 1/0 circles if you want to increase your chances. You will also pick up some good mangrove snapper in these locations using this method. {%image_id=61912%}
