As we begin the transition to Spring fishing, things turned on nicely! Lots of options opened up this past week as water temperatures begin to approach the 70 degree mark. Bait showed up as did the predators that follow it. Over slot redfish could be found on both tides feeding on white bait both free lined and on corks. Snook started chewing, also after the live bait and some were caught on the old shrimp and jig. Trout continue to be found in open water and caught up to 23 inches. The passes are starting to get good, however only when the water was blue or green, Not Brown! Nearshore continues to produce nice sheepshead up to 5lbs rather consistently as well as snappers and the occasional cobia.

Tight Lines,
