Estero Bay: Tripletail - Pompano - Redfish - Trout
Estero Bay, florida

December 21, 2016
Fishing this week has given anglers countless opportunities to catch a variety of species. The passes have been loaded with pompano and bluefish. Nearshore has proven that the tripletail are a popular target. It seems as if the larger fish are further out in the Gulf. Redfish are thick around mangrove islands and feeding on the low tides. Shrimp is great bait to use but the larger fish have been taking live pilchards and cut bait offerings. On the correct tide the trout have been dominating the grass flats. Shrimp under a popping cork is my go to setup and is proven to be successful. If the water is dirty, move around different flats until you find good clean moving water. Book your trip today and ask for the best tides! (727)-234-3171 {%image_id=51330%} {%image_id=51331%} {%image_id=51332%}
Tight Lines,
Capt. Joe Angius
