Estero Bay

The fishing in and around Estero Bay has been on fire. The redfish bite has been crazy good on shrimp and whitebait. Shrimp on a jig head under a float around the mangrove islands has been the go-to bait. Free lined white bait on a 2/0 circle hook has been great around the oyster bars on high tide. Snook have been taking free lined threadfih herrings around the floating docks and mangrove islands on high water. Remember it is still catch and release so take your picture and get them back to the water. Tarpon have began moving into the area off the beaches. Free lined threadfin's on 7/0 circle hooks will do the trick. Locate the fish and start your drift.
