the fishing this past week in Estero Bay has been up and down. The changing weather patterns has made the bite tough with not much consistency. There have been some seatrout in the 3-5 feet of water around grassy bottom. Fishing shirmp under popping corks has been the best method of locating and catching them. The sheepshead bite is starting to pick up as they move to the cooler weather locations around structure. shrimp tipped jig heads will work best. Just remember to downsize your hooks and just tip the hook with shrimp.
