Backcountry Fishing

I love this time of the year because it is usually when I start fishing as far back in the Everglades as you can go. The fronts are rolling through more consistent, which means an awesome backcountry experience. The snook are back there right now and as the water temps drop, the redfish will join them. We had a day this week where we were fishing far south of Chokoloskee and eating lunch in a small lagoon, when 500 or so teal flew over our heads. What a cool thing to see! Another reason why I love the Everglades. {%image_id=35810%}{%image_id=35809%}{%image_id=35808%}{%image_id=35804%}{%image_id=35803%} The bass fishing in the Everglades has been really good as well. I fished a few days this past week and each trip we got over 60 fish. {%image_id=35811%}{%image_id=35806%} Give me a call to get out on the water! Capt.
