Blow wind, blow! A steady dosage of 20 – 25 knot winds for a few weeks will change your perspective. What really is bad wind? At this point, I am convinced it's all good. It is what you make of it… and for me, it has been great. Managing my lightweight Maverick HPX-T in these high winds was tough work at times, but a little extra planning and patience yielded plentiful rewards this week. He would go on to catch a large Trout to compete his first ever Back Country Slam. {%image_id=9330%} Tyler (www.CastawayCustoms.com) and I got out for a few hours on a rare day off… We made short work of a dozen good fish, including two ten pounders and then called it an early morning.
